A trial court in an order dated April 16 accepted the closure report filed by the state EOW-ACB after finding that no case of disproportionate assets could be made out against Aman Singh and his wife Yasmin Singh.

Raipur, April 19 – A trial court in an order dated April 16 accepted the closure report filed by the state EOW-ACB after finding that no case of disproportionate assets could be made out against Aman Singh and his wife Yasmin Singh.

The court has also scrapped the FIR No 09/2020, which was registered when the previous Congress government under chief minister Bhupesh Baghel was in power in the state.

In his reaction to the trial court decision, Senior BJP leader of Chhattisgarh, Naresh Chandra Gupta, also a practicing lawyer, said, “The judgement is victory of honesty and uprightness. We welcome the decision of the trial court since it has served the true purpose of justice.”
